These are the fine lines that appear at the outer corner of the eyes due to repeated contractions of the muscle in this area when we smile or squint. 

Placement of neuromodulator into the affected muscle can relax these muscles so that they can still move, but the lines are softened/alleviated. This is ideal for maintaining softer, smoother and younger looking skin. 

This treatment is best done preventatively, i.e. before these lines are etched into the skin at rest. If the lines are already fixed at rest, they can be softened, but not completely removed.
