These are vertical lines that occur between our eyebrows due to repeated contractions of the muscles in this area caused by frowning. This gives the face a more aged appearance and can mean makeup settles into these lines.

Placement of neuromodulator into the affected muscle can relax these muscles so that they can still move, but the lines are softened/alleviated. This is ideal for maintaining softer, smoother and younger looking skin. 

This treatment is best done preventatively, i.e. before these lines are etched into the skin at rest. If the lines are already fixed at rest, they can be softened, but not completely removed.
